Description of Services

What EWOL EDU provides

EWOL EDU provides an AI-powered learning platform for Sri Lankan students, including but not limited to:

Practice Exam Papers — fixed-format papers with a set number of questions, time limit, and one-time or per-attempt access, available for free or as a paid unlock.
Concept Booster / Unlimited Practice — a pay-per-question practice mode charged at the rate displayed at the time of use.
AI Hints — on-demand explanatory hints available for a small wallet charge per question.
Teacher Profiles — browse verified teachers, their published papers, and follow them for updates.
Learn-to-Earn & Referral Program — submit questions for review or refer new students to earn wallet credit.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform (including specific papers, features, or pricing) at any time, with or without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes affecting paid content they have already unlocked.
04

Wallet, Payments & Pricing

How the EWOL Wallet, PayHere and PayPal top-ups work

EWOL EDU operates on a prepaid Wallet model. You may add funds ("Top Up") to your Wallet using PayHere (cards, Lanka QR, and local bank payments in LKR) or PayPal (in USD). Wallet balances are displayed in both LKR and USD for your convenience, using an internal exchange rate that may be updated periodically without prior notice.

Licensed Payment Gateways Encrypted Checkout LKR & USD Wallet
  1. All prices for papers, AI Hints, and Concept Booster questions are displayed prior to purchase and are deducted directly from your Wallet balance upon confirmation.
  2. You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient Wallet balance before starting a paid paper or unlimited practice session; the Platform will notify you if your balance is insufficient to proceed.
  3. Prices, subscription-style access periods, and enrollment durations for individual papers are set at the discretion of EWOL EDU or the contributing teacher and may vary between papers.
  4. Coupon codes, when issued, credit a fixed bonus amount to your Wallet upon successful redemption and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  5. Payment confirmations from PayHere and PayPal are cryptographically verified server-side before your Wallet is credited; unverified or failed transactions will not be credited.
05

Refund Policy

When refunds are, and are not, available
Wallet top-ups are generally non-refundable once completed, and amounts already spent unlocking a paper, AI Hint, or Concept Booster question are non-refundable, as digital access is granted immediately upon payment.

Refunds or Wallet credit reversals may be considered, at our sole discretion, in the following limited circumstances:

A confirmed technical error resulted in a duplicate charge or Wallet deduction without corresponding access being granted.
A purchased paper is found to be materially defective (e.g. missing questions) and cannot be corrected within a reasonable time.
An unused Wallet top-up (funds never spent on any paper, hint, or feature) may be refunded to the original payment method within 14 days of the top-up, minus any payment gateway processing fees, upon written request.

To request a refund, contact info@ewoledu.lk with your account email, transaction date, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
